I am Hyoju Ban,
also known as Lewis, a VFX artist, animator, and the operator of the Urban Sketchers Ulsan Chapter, specializing in concept art and matte painting in the film and animation industry for the past 15 years. As a professional, I create digital drawings using Photoshop and Painter, but I also enjoy exploring various materials for drawing as a personal hobby. Urban sketching, particularly using watercolors and iPad Procreate, brings me great joy.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my drawings and color ideas with all of you through the Urban Sketching workshop at AsiaLink.
Workshop Description
This workshop focuses on expressing light and shadow that suits the atmosphere of various urban sketching locations and developing delicate watercolor techniques with personal emotions.
Supply List
Watercolor paper (100% cotton, 300gsm or heavier), a wide range of watercolor tools including natural hair brushes, and masking fluid.
